Humber Bay is an unique area in Toronto tucked away along the shores of Lake Ontario. Its natural setting and green scenery provides an escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown, yet the view of the city’s skyline reminds us that we are part of a world-class metropolis.

I am familiar with the Humber Bay area, having lived and worked in the area for several years. I have witnessed a transformation from an underused motel strip to a buzzing community. Humber Bay possesses great potential. As more projects are completed and the area further matures, restaurants and retail will flourish; there is more than enough demand to support a local GO train station; and office and commercial buildings may be incorporated in the development of the “Mr. Christie’s” land. It is for this reason that I am passionate about the area and it is quickly becoming a destination of choice for young professionals, families and retirees alike.
